In an act defying traditions and norms, a group of eleven women and their supporters organize their ordination to become Episcopal priests in 1974 at the Church of the Advocate in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Despite relentless threats and harassment, they follow their call with grace and conviction and become the first women priests.
